Winter

It’s almost October and that’s when I start freaking out.  I love summer and shorts and sun and swim suits.  I don’t like cold or coats or sweaters.  I’m trying to find a place to live that’s warm all the time but not humid.  If I never see another pine tree I’ll be just fine.

At least my kids always had funny toddler tees to try to brighten up the days.  I really shouldn’t complain, Denver isn’t as bad as many think.  We have over 300 days/year of sunshine and most of the snow is in the mountains, and people think that is the weather in Denver.  It’s not.  We do get big storms occasionally, but that’s not really the norm.
