Baby ClothesI found this great article on Ezine Articles that I think blog readers would enjoy seeing that pertains to baby clothing and the steps to get stains out of baby clothes.

There is nothing worse than ruining one of your baby’s best outfits with a baby food stain. Just one small drop of baby food can quickly ruin an entire outfit. However, there is hope. Baby food stains do not have to ruin your infants clothing. There are some simple steps to both prevent the stains from happening, as well as removing them if they should happen.

First, begin by always using a bib. A baby bib will simply help to protect your baby clothes from the baby food. Often times it is easier to prevent a stain from occurring, than trying to remove the stain afterwards. You can also give your baby smaller bites. This will help to eliminate excess food spilling out of his or her mouth.

Should your baby’s clothes still become stained from the baby food, there are some quick and easy steps you can take to remove the stains. It is very important that you never iron or dry the clothes in the dryer until the stain is completely removed. Otherwise the heat from the iron and dryer will permanently set the stain into the clothes.

Often times a liquid detergent will help in removing the baby food stain. Simply put the detergent directly on the stain and let it sit. The worse the stain is, the longer you will want to leave the detergent on. After the detergent has set a while on the stain, rub the detergent into the stain. Afterwards, rinse the garment completely. If the stain is completely gone, you can then launder it like normal.
